The Crozes Hermitage appellation is the Cave de Tain speciality, since it produces nealry 50% of it.

Winemaking

Careful selection of graoes depending on the origin, maturity and quality of grapes. All grapes are destemmed. Vattin under temperature control & partially aged in oak barrels.

Winemakers notes

Intense garnet red colour with purple tints. Delicate aromas of blackberry fruits with vanilla & light oaky notes. Rich on the palate with a good sweetness and a firm tannic structure. Final noted of fresh blackcurract, violet & oriental spices.

Match with: Herb roast poulty, cooked pork meats or red meat.
