The grapes for our wines come exclusively from our estate-owned vineyards in the Middle Mosel. They are farmed sustainably, then harvested and selected by hand.
Red slate is quite unique on the Mosel. The wines have a softer, rounder structure than those grown on blue slate. Their aromas are often reminiscent of red fruits, sometimes even strawberries. Our Red Slate Riesling impressively captures the allure of this terroir.
